Hello! I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Grand Valley State University (in Grand Rapids/Allendale, MI).

• STA 215: Introductory Applied Statistics
• STA 216: Intermediate Applied Statistics
• STA 315: Design of Experiments
• STA 321: Applied Regression Analysis
• STA 610: Applied Statistics for Health Professions
• STA 621: Design of Experiments and Regression
• STA 625: Clinical Trials

Research

My two main areas of research are:

• Functional MRI statistical analysis (see Publications)
• R Shiny web apps for statistical education: these are designed to help students engage more dynamically with statistical concepts.

Michigan Statistics Poster Competition

I am chair of the annual competition, for which K-12 students throughout Michigan submit hundreds of posters telling the story of their statistical explorations. For more information, see:
