The Blue Mountains is similar in grandeur to the Grand Canyon on the U.S.A. We'll take a pleasant two hour train to the mountain town of Katoomba. From the visitor station in Katoomba, there are hikes of all levels of difficulty for ramblers. Nesteled in the cozy mountain town of Katoomba, a full day in the blue mountains is never enough and if at all possible requires a return visit.

Wentworth Falls is the most challenging walk in the blue mountains and is not for the unseasoned hiker but promises spectacular views. All of the hikes from the Blue Mountains could be described as a short distance from Sydney, but a million miles from care.
