Dr. Greg Pemberton leading Canberra trip

Students listen as Dr. Greg Pemberton leads a class through a tour of Canberra - the Australian National Capital.

CANBERRA
Study Abroad Australia would not be complete without a weekend trip to the nation's capital, Canberra. Designed by an American architect in a competition to build a capital city, Canberra is its own territory like the Distict of Columbia in our own capital. The location of Canberra for Australia's national government was a compromise between Sydney and Melbourne which have always been in competion and both veyed for capital status.

Australian War Museum
The sobering entrance to the Australian War Museum which provides homage to the tremendous sacrifice Australians have payed in global conflicts and wars..

Busy Park in Canberra
