BALMAIN [top]
A vibrant neighborhood, accessable by ferry, Balmain offers some of the best cafe culture that Sydney has to offer. Eclectic shops, great restaraunts and pubs and fine residential housing well integrated into the street fabric make Balmain a new urbanists paradise.
GLEBE [top]
Glebe, like Newtown, is a university disctrict located right next to the University of Sydney and Sydney Technology University. This adds up to a district with a multicultural flavor, coffee houses, bookstores and CD shops on every corner. Victorian terrace style housing has become extremely desirable by Sydney siders.
HUNTER'S HILL [top]
If you have money and lots of it, this may be the neighborhood for you. Accessible by ferry, Hunter's Hill provides almost every house with a Bay view. The real estate reflects that, but you can't help but be charmed.
BLUES POINT/NORTH SYDNEY [top]
Blues Point is a small but charming neighborhood on the north harbour which was one of the few historic neighborhoods that wasn't obliterated by the construction of the Harbour Bridge back in the 1920s. North Sydney is a growing business district of Skyscrapers that is increasingly building residential highrises. Both districts surround Luna Park amusement park, which fails to amuse some of the nearby residents who have to endure the scream of roller coasters throughout the day and night.
PADDINGTON [top]
Known as a gay and lesbian friendly neighborhood, Paddington has some of the largest terrace style Victorian housing in all of Sydney. With a vibrant 24/7 business district to boot, this neighborhood, once a Sydney slum has fully gentrified.
ROSE BAY [top]
Rose Bay is among the finest residential neighborhoods of Sydney. With stunning Harbour views, lovely housing stock and close to Double Bay (the Rodeo Drive of Sydney) Rose Bay is an ideallic setting.

UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY/NEWTOWN [top]
Newtown runs the length of King Street and the University of Sydney (Australia's Oxford or Cambridge) is the anchor for the street. There are 19 Thai restaraunts on King Street, what more needs to be said?

WATSON'S BAY/THE GAP [top]
On a clear day, when we land at Watson's Bay and the world famous Doyle's Seafood
Restaraunt, the walk and neighborhood of Watson's Bay is tough to beat. Some of the most striking views in all of Sydney. This is also known as the South Head and where the massive Bay meets up with the Pacific Ocean.
POTTS POINT/KING'S CROSS [top]
Sometimes described as sophistication and sleaze, you find one of the more upscale urban neighborhoods (Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay) right next door to one of the seediest (Kings Cross, the redlight district of Sydney)
