Welcome to the Chemistry 115 home page for Grand Valley State University.
While this page will probably never win an award for its format, it will
help students keep track of important information for the course.
Chemistry 115 is the first semester in the two semester general chemistry sequence for science and engineering majors. By itself, this course can not act as a prerequisite into any other chemistry course other than CHM 116, the second course in the sequence. This class has as prerequisites; high school chemistry and MTH 110 (College Algebra). If you have not fulfilled these prerequisites, you may encounter difficulties with the material. Please check with your advisor and make sure that you have registered for the correct course for your major.
