Kaleidoscope by Angle
This kaleidoscope works by setting the mirrors to make a certain angle. The mirrors (reflecting lines) of the kaleidoscope are set on the edges of one piece and then the reflections make the other pieces.
Not all angles make a true kaleidoscope looking image. Which angles make a kaleidoscope? Why those angles?
Extensions:
All the images in this sketch are made by reflections, but when it makes a kaleidoscope image, the image also has rotational symmetry. Why does that happen?
What makes a kaleidoscope image look good to you? Design an image that is cool to you. Describe what you like about it.
