Dreams

I stood outside on a porch at night.  It was dark and cold.  The streets were lit only by a few streetlights that lined the road.  Fear had stricken me.  I knew my life was being threatened, and trouble was roaming the city looking for anyone to take out and kill for no good reason.  I breathed heavily as I hoped they wouldn’t find me.  The cartoons had come to life and were seeking revenge on those who were already living and human.  No longer were they cartoon-looking.  They all became realistic and living.  Hearing something approaching I quickly hid behind a thick column that was on the porch and pressed against it.  Beside the house pulled up a dark, steel train.  The locomotive was large and black.  It had a face on the front of it as it did in the cartoon it had come from, only now the face was stiff and immobile being real now and made of metal.  It was as though the face was just decoration.  Smoke billowed from the train as it crept forward menacingly.  I knew the other living cartoons were riding in it.  Speedily I ran into the house and shut the door.  There were many people inside also trying to hide from the danger.  I gazed out the window and saw a car with eyes for headlights approaching the house.  Its tires were more like spider legs as it made its way closer.  I ducked down to the ground as a round from a machine gun was shot at the house.  Debris flew everywhere.  As it settled a woman walked into the house carrying a large cat.  They both were once cartoons.  Following behind her was a huge tiger on a leash.  She let the cat go which scampered across the floor and then she let the tiger go who ran after the cat hungrily like a strange game of cat and mouse.  I knew once the tiger caught the cat it would be after us.

A man walked through the forest.  He wasn’t a normal man.  He was white like paper and had the shape of an egg, like Humpty Dumpty or something.  He made his way to his home which was like a playground on the water.  There were other people that lived there too, thought they looked normal.  A man who looked very much like Magneto from X-men challenged the egg-man to a swimming contest.  The egg-man couldn’t turn him down so it was on.  They both swam as fast as they could around the playground-like structure but the egg-man proved to be faster.  In a fit of rage the guy who looked like Magneto tried to chase the egg-man but the egg-man climbed to the top of the playground away from reach.  Angrily the other man went home.  In his home, he asked a girl who looked like Rogue from X-men how to kill the egg-man.  She replied that there was only one way:  you had to use a little bit of seasoning.  The egg-man also went home.  He was angry that the man tried to catch him and hurt him.  He pulled down his pants and asked his butt how he could kill the man.  His butt told him to use a gun.
