34th Annual Lower Michigan Mathematics Competition

The 2010 Lower Michigan Mathematics Competition will be held on Saturday, April 10 at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI.

The competition consists of a 10-problem exam taken by teams of 2 or 3 undergraduates. A school may enter multiple teams. There is a $20 registration fee per team to help defray expenses. Lunch will be provided.

Program

The schedule for the day's activities will be:

8:30 AM - 9:15 AM    Check-in and refreshments
9:30 AM-12:30 AM    Competition
~12:45 PM-2:00 PM    Lunch
2:00 PM-3:00 PMish    Solution session

Check-in and refreshments will be in the Mackinac Hall (building #41on the campus map)

To register for the LMMC:

    College name
    Advisor's name
    Number of teams participating
    Number of people (students and advisors) staying for lunch

A check for $20 per team, payable to "Grand Valley State University", should then be mailed to

Driving directions to Allendale Campus of GVSU may be found here.  Registration and refreshments will be in the Mackinac Hall (building #41on the campus map); parking is available on near the complex. Parking is available in Lot C, and C west.
