1. Seminar Coordination This committee coordinates the organization of the learning and work of the class with the instructor. This includes coordinating administrative tasks such as schedules, projects, fees, course materials and supplies, and serving as host.

2. Facility Committee This committee oversees with the instructor all details pertaining to the temporary facility. This includes maintenance and upgrades, as well as the budget for the facility.

3. Studio Project Committee This committee leads in the development and refinement of the process and production of the collaborative studio project in coordination with the instructor. Michelle Adams

4. Chicago This committee organizes, plans, and implements the trip to Chicago in coordination with instructor. This includes schedules, directions, and preparatory research. The purpose is to facilitate orientation and mobility in Chicago and enhancement of the trip as a learning experience. Michelle Adams

5. Digital Technologies This committee serves as technical support for the rest of the class by learning computer techniques in greater depth than the rest of the class. This includes html, email, and news software, processes and handling digital images, and database software for mailing lists. Amy Stewart

6. Image Technologies This committee serves as technical support for the rest of the class by learning and presenting technologies having to do with images. This is primarily 35 mm slides, but can also include digital images, and video. The focus is on taking the images and determining the quality and effectiveness of images. Amy Price

7. Language Technologies This committee serves as technical support for the rest of the class by reading and making editorial suggestions on any writing that is done for the course.
