Sitti
by Amy Cassis
Sitti, Who loves her grandkids
And asks about everything
Who is small and sweet
Like fresh baked pumpkin muffins
Who is pajamas and a glass of water
Whose hair is saturated with White Rain
Is always smiling with a twinkle in her eye
Who tells me I’m the greatest
Who always forgets my birthday
Whose little hands work the remote with ease
Takes naps in her pink chair
Who loves to laugh at my jokes
Is always thinking about everyone
Is wrinkled and warm
Like a newborn puppy
And soft, like fuzz on a baby duck
Is bright like Christmas lights
Is gold and sparkles
Who sleeps, and sleeps
She loves me
Sitti
