I had a great Christmas this year! You see I got a new pair of shoes. Now that for most people may not be very exciting, but when you’ve had the same shoes for two years it can be quite a moment. I’ve been playing basketball for the last two years in the same shoes, and they are looking pretty shabby. And because of the shabby shape my playing has faulted a little. But now with my new Le Brons I play with confidence and skill like I never had before. The difference is like David and Goliath. But shoes that good come with a price. A 100+ price. So the rest of my Christmas gifts were low quality, but what I’ve gotten out of these new shoes is well worth it. The shoes are the envy of everyone. Everybody I know and some I don’t come up to me just to talk about the shoes. What’s even funnier, is when I’m out playing with my dad. He’ll go up to random people we’ve never seen in our lives, and ask them what they think about my shoes. He’s more proud of the shoes than my game.
