System analysis is the process of examining the state of a system. Its characteristics, structural features, functions, and any other attribute that may be identified for the system of interest. Generally, system analysis will result in the modeling of the system and the formulation of one or more system models. In order to model a system, the modeller must first analyze the system in order to describe it in detail.
