Colors

by Nadia Purvis

I think my childhood color would have to be blue. First of all, my birthstone color is sapphire, which is blue. Also, my childhood color would more likely be a blue-sky color. It changes like the sky would on a rainy day- the sky would turn gray that could represent my sadness. Or when after it would rain, sometimes there is a pretty rainbow that could represent my happiness or me feeling good. I know it seems like my color is sky, but there is a crayon color called sky blue.

Or maybe my color could be yellow, bright like the sun. Just so wonderful at times. Like the sun is something you would want to be around. Also, my color could be black or white, because my life can sometimes be so blank I don’t know what to do with myself. It could also represent the silent or calm part of me - like there is no one left in the whole world but me. I’m just alone sometimes.
