Here they are. Stars of the Show. Our Host and Hostess. Grand
Marshalls of the Parade. Co-Captains of the Reisterer Team. Leaders of the
Band. The ones who started it all. Bless them. Blame them? You've
got to love 'em...
The family of Dr. and Mrs. N.S. Reisterer, which includes several hundred sons,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and assorted dogs, cats, gerbils, goldfish and horses
has taken up residence in cyberspace. A little known area of the galaxy known as
"The Reisterer Family Neighborhood".
Upon condition of anonymity, son Thom declared, "this is the greatest thing to
happen since Mom last made that upside-down chocolate pudding-cake thing" back in
late '68.
Unavailable for comment, Dr. and Mrs. Reisterer, aka Dad and Mom, are rumoured to be
happy about this new location, but concerned that it may add substantial travel time to
their annual Florida hiatus. When asked his thoughts on this possible turn of
events, son Jack responded with a hearty laugh. "That really is a hearty
laugh", added son Mike.
"I can laugh hearty", said son Jim. "Not as hearty as me",
argued son Nib. "Uh-uh", chimed in son Pete. "Make me",
said youngest son Rick coming in at the tale of the conversation and oblivious to its
subject.
A grand opening for the new "Reisterer Family Neighborhood" is planned for
sometime next January or, maybe March, depending on how quickly the finishing touches can
be put on the place. Many celebrities and media personalities are expected to attend
the socially significant event.
