Project IV (Redesign)
Find a web site at GVSU (or another place is fine) and prepare a short presentation that explains its design flaws according to the design principles we discuss in class. Be prepared to show your own redesign on this web site and explain the changes you made in a five-minute presentation to the class.
Prepare a written summary of your presentation for your web page. This summary should be well written and make sense when approached without the help of your oral presentation.
I am interested in seeing your improvements in navigation, design, but also text that is on the page. Please don't neglect to revise the writing in the site so that it is more appropriate for the on-line context.
The strongest presentations will demonstrate significant revisions in multiple aspects of the web site. You may, of course, reuse the graphics on the site and copy/paste the text, but make revisions and improvements in layout and content.
Everyone will make presentations to their work group. I will call on a few students to make oral presentations.
